This is a vacation/gpu-burn/pqm-run trip so I'm pretty flexible meaning its not too hard to find R, but its hard to find it matching the duration I want. I plan to goto BKK, REP, then back to hkg with an overnight layover and back home.

Getting to HKG will be enough for me to retain my 1K so I don't really need the *A miles/dollars. The reason I would want to book on the same PNR is protection incase UA is delayed. Also, if I book separately, I don't know if I can interline my bags (ie if I use Hk air or air asia). Are those in different terminals? do you have to get your bags?
