Two errors concerning DCA - I have heard FAs refer to DCA as "Reagan International Airport." This airport has never had "international" in its name. It is officially known as Ronald Reagan Washington NATIONAL Airport. Although there are (or have been) flights from DCA to a few nearby international locations (like Bermuda), it is by no means an international airport.
Also, there was a time (around 2004) when you could not get up during the last 30 minutes of the flight if you were landing at DCA, but that FAA rule ended quite a few years ago. Even two years after that rule was repealed, some FAs continued to announce that you couldn't get up during the last 30 minutes of the flight, even to use the lavatory. I tried to correct the FA once as we deplaned and she insisted I was "wrong." I just shrugged my shoulders and emailed United to educate their FAs about the repeal, and I received a reply that I was correct and they would let the FAs on my flight know about the change.
