Yeah, that is a fear of mine too. Historically Chase does not post your points until after your statement closes, but they could change this any time I suppose. I know other credit cards post them as soon as you spend the money. As of now, they would not post until January. But Chase could pull a fast one and change that I suppose? I have no clue.
