Thank you for the report compliments Steveman518. I am sure I am setting up my son for a lifetime of "Why aren't we in business class, Daaaadddddd?". Hopefully it encourages him to work hard so he can spoil himself one day!

Personally, I think there are few better things that you can do for a child than travel with them internationally. My parents did it with my sister and me, and it helped form me. We're doing the same thing with our kids.

Nice job, Dad!

Greg99 - I couldn't agree with you more. I've really enjoyed the opportunities seeing the world growing up. I distinctly remember seeing my first black and white flip analog flight display board at Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong. My co-workers sometimes look at me like I'm from Mars, but I still see possibilities.

Thanks also for your comments on the UA 767's.

Thanks for pointing that out Hartmann. I've only been fortunate enough to fly their 787's.

Thank you djjaguar64. I think we took the same KLM flight a little bit later in the report. It's a great deal.

OZ is pretty good about releasing multiple seats a year out, so might be a required option for a family trip I'm planning.
Grandgourmand, truth be told, I found the seats to be compact. There won't be any basketball or volleyball players that would find them spacious. As a side sleeper, the lower cavity for your legs was tiny and my knees would bump the center console. A tight space but I think, for me, it's outweighed by flying a beautiful new aircraft. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a stand up bar or a shower suite like Emirates, but everything is clean and mostly scuff free. Add generous reward availability and it's a winning combination, especially for families that all want to travel together on the same dates and plane.
