I've generally found them to be pretty good for most things...
And don't assume having a "named UK individual" is going to solve anything. I must admit I chuckled a bit at "confident of an eventual resolution"

. I have had to push and shove BA so much on some matters (like refunds, completely random delays and excuses in paying out EU261 etc etc). Having someone UK-based has made zero difference to how issues have been handled by BA.
Sometimes the Indian call centre get lots of flak for issues that they are not themselves in any way responsible for. "Don't shoot the messenger"
