The seats on the newly configured one are quite nice up front, the old configuration is just your typical NA domestic F from what I've seen (only tried the new ones).
Service is VERY hit or miss. You'll either get some nice and diligent crew or the kind that go hide behind the curtain after your meal is dropped on the tray. This certainly was the case on a 787 flight in J to JFK I took a few weeks ago, crew just couldn't be bothered.
