Redeemed a one-way award EWR-GVA in J on TP connecting in LIS. There is a UA nonstop flight to GVA leaving around the same time that didn't have any saver availability. Should I bother to try switching to the UA-metal flight when I arrive at the airport in the interest of saving miles or would saver availability still be required even at T-24?
