Sorry for this newbie question, but yesterday I flew UA for the first time in 22 years(!) and I was puzzled by this situation.
I bought some food in flight, paid by credit card, asked for a receipt and the FA told me that their terminals don't provide any and that I could get them on
www.united.com/receipts. This, however, doesn't work, but on the website I found out how to request them. Then I read this:
"To process receipt requests past seven days from the last travel date, there is a charge of $20 per receipt request per person."
I didn't care much about this statement until I realised that I could only claim receipts for flights until one week ago. So does it mean that UA charges $20 for any receipt, even I paid less than that for my lunch??
Thanks
