The statements hit a tender cord. Certain things can wait but some other things cannot.

When we are younger, we may not have much leisure time or money to spare, but we have more than enough energy and stamina to do anything possible.

When we get older, we may have the time and money to spend, but we no longer have enough energy or physical strength to do much.

House work can wait. Our carbon-compound body won't wait for us. Take a few days off, take 10 days off. Go where you really want to be. You won't regret not having mowed the grass, or painted the bedroom, or cleaned the garage, but you'll regret not having been to the Pyramids, or the Maldives, or Angkor Wat, where you really should see, with someone you really want to be. Do it now.
