Hmm, what do you suppose they should do? Do not take a huge pile of money from AMEX for the programs in NO and SE because AMEX doesn't see that business being profitable in DK as well?
This is not about being nice to people living in Sweden or Norway and mean to people living in Denmark - it is very profitable business both for SAS and AMEX.
The number of people maximizing on it is probably rather small. I know enough people who just use the voucher for longhaul Go awards. Firstly since they do not see why to spend 100.000 points if they can get there with 60.000, second they do not have so many points stashed that they need to make sure they have enough for a trip every year. If you just live of credit card points and a few intra-European flights a year 100.000 points is hard to come by.
