How close to flying are you?? It can be typical yes.....sometimes it can take weeks. If you are flying in the next day or two I would give them another call to chase up, as this will save you a lot of unnecessary hassle when turning up at the airport unticketed.

EDIT: If your flights aren't for ages, just keep a watchful eye, as this isn't anything to worry about at this stage.
