Hi,
The standard, deluxe, superior room descriptions are just nice ways of telling a customer they're getting a good room. However, "standard" is usually the way for the front desk agent to tell you it won't have a view, or it's the average size, or on an unrenovated floor--nothing extra special. "Superior" room is a better way to describe "standard", sounds better, and the customer will be happier. If the customer thinks there's a difference between superior and standard, they'll most likely ask for a room change, and get the same room. As for "deluxe", these rooms usually have a better view, or are on a corner for more space, or have larger than average bathrooms, or on a newly renovated floor. It's usually just the way the building is built that makes them bigger. Usually not a difference in ammenities or decor.
Better rooms, considered an upgrade without giving away a suite or concierge floor privileges.
So, what you want is the deluxe as opposed to superior.
Hope it answers your question.
