In a recent Handelsblatt interview MOL was more specific in what he meant with his comment(s). What he is aiming for is not codeshares, but co-operations, ie FR operating feeder flights for the big hub carriers under their branding. This way the EU3 can sell their regional fleet and fire their crew and let FR operate those on LCC wages.
