I know precious little about the terms of gate leases, but is it possible AS will be moving its gates at various airports to better align with its evolving lounge partnership arrangements?

Just to throw out an example from this last weekend's flights: AS gate at BNA is in B terminal, a short ways from the SC in B. AA flies out of C where there's an Admiral's Club. Would it makes sense and be possible for AS to lease a gate down in C instead of in B?

I always like to think the wise guys in the corporate suite have this stuff all figured out way ahead of time. Why not use gates closer to where your best customers have lounge access? Or are there obstacles that would prevent moving operations like this?
