Concur with others. Never any major issues, other than the feckless nature of the TSA itself and another interaction. My Pre-check has always re-beeped also, though I have only tried it 3 times max for same flight.

I wonder when the TSA will start re-charging people another 2.80$ (or whatever it is these days) in a new screening fee
