Slightly off topic but plans have been submitted to the City Council for a Hampton over beside the Holiday Inn Express.
If the city council gives the go-ahead for a Hampton by Hilton, then this will mean that the Hilton Edinburgh Airport will need to pull it's socks up somewhat.
I concur with everyone about the dire internet access at the hotel. When I've stayed there, service has been average, and certainly doesn't compare to the excellent DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh (on Bread Street). Yes, I do appreciate the former is airport located.
Anyway, I'll be very interested to see if the Hampton by Hilton does get given the go-ahead. It will certainly be very useful indeed.
