"ITHACA, N.Y. — The long-planned Marriott hotel currently under construction in downtown Ithaca is on track to open next summer at 120 South Aurora St.

The 159-room hotel will be 11 stories tall and feature an indoor/outdoor specialty restaurant and bar, a fitness center, and 2,600 square feet of meeting space. Eight of the hotel’s rooms will be suites.

The Ithaca Marriott is located along the eastern edge of the Ithaca Commons, a two-block pedestrian mall built in 1974 that serves as the center of the area’s civic life. The hotel is less than a mile from the Cornell University campus."
