Clearly it is a difficult move for Delta to go to T1
It took me over an hour to clear the security check and the immigration on 30th September just one day before the official Golden Week holidays.

There is actually "VIP" line for SkyPriority at the security check but it is open to all passengers (nobody controls it) making it totally useless.

It was an absolute chaos and the ground staff (including immigration officers!) were taking pictures of the shameful lines of people.

Even a disabled woman had to wait in line as there was no assistance at all.
Their staff are so incompetent and clearly can't cope with large crowds.
Where are all the billions invested since 2012 to upgrade T1 faicilities????

The only "good" point is to have a dedicated bus for SkyPriority passengers with a pick up from the lounge when it is a bus gate (like most of the time)

That day, Delta gave passengers a flyer to apologize and a letter was also given upon boarding for those who want to fill a complaint to Delta Customer Service.

For info there is now a Starbucks coffee at the end of the Terminal 1(Far left when facing the runway) just opposite of Gate 24
