I agree with JerryFF. We too used to love to stay there, but noticed it wasn't what it used to be .. even under ITT ownership it was sliding but not like the recent couple of years. After our last stay I vowed to try something else the next time.

Last time I was there I was attending a convention at Mandalay Bay and stayed there. Mandalay Bay was fabulous.

Unfortunately, 55 minute waits are not unusual if you aren't a casino guest at these places. I can't believe that you didn't just have the bellman check your bags for you. They have a huge storage area there and are set up for that sort of stuff. $5 or $10 goes a long way in Lost Vegas.
