PHL-TLV required two aircraft to achieve a once/daily round-trip service. Aircraft don't make $$ while they sit idle at TLV (or elsewhere), more expensive security and insurance costs than elsewhere in the AA/US system.
Any idea where I could find estimates of of what the security and insurance costs actually are? It seems to be accepted fact that they are high and I don't doubt. I just wonder if there's any data out there I could use to get a better handle on what that actually is.
