synergistic... I did see my (corrected) profile preferences stored on the old site just now, but since I have no need to change anything now, I wasn't going to try to change anything "just to see", as it were.
You should try to change it, per sdsearch's advice. The best case scenario is that you will be finally able to book reward reservations online. The worst case it that you will have to call Choice to correct it--which you will have to do anyway since you still can't book anything right now anyway. In other words, your options are either 1 phone call to get your preferences corrected or keep calling every time you want to book something.
As far as not being able to see potential reward availability after the close-in 30 day window, I have noticed that, too. You may also have noticed that on each property's "Overview" page, there is no longer any future point redemption totals, which is very frustrating. I always enjoyed knowing the exact date when a room would be reduced in required points.
Now I am left hoping that a property I want to book around New Year's Eve will not go up in points by then. I guess I will know on December 1st.
Basically, some of the key strong points of being a Choice member are being whittled down or just plain taken away altogether.
