So that's an A319 service I guess? But yes, wait until the nearer the time. The front blocked area is sometimes released ahead of T-72 if there are a lot of ET bookings and not so many CE bookings. And it will be an A320 on the way out. Be careful of equipment changes, the emergency exit row can alter if the fleet gets redeployed.
The ET block is totally standard behaviour by the way, it's been like this on non domestic shorthaul for many years.
