IMO its a ludicrous policy, especially in the terminals. Maybe in the days when they used to make ecigs to look like normal smokes and they were new so not many people knew what they were.

But today they have been widely recognized by the medical profession as a way of helping people to quit smoking, and surely everyone knows the difference between them and real cigs (the smell alone gives the game away).

BTW Ryanair actually sell them on board
