I agreed with the comment IF it was only the current max. 48 passengers a day who would use the lounge. But this is not the case. Even though it is a logical conclusion in relation to OP it is a misconception of Al Safwa usage. It is this misconception that my post was designed to correct.

With regard to the old Premium Terminal I was told that passengers arriving on regional F could have access to the First lounge if they were traveling business class on Very long haul. Others have stated that access was also granted for all onward long haul business when arriving in regional F.
OT: One curious thing is that QR define long haul as 6+ hours whilst OW define it as 5+ hours. This has cost at least one member of this forum access to Al Mourjan.
I will opt for the sensible approach to the Al Safwa, namely we know nothing for certain until it actually opens.
