Actually, psychonesque, CX is Cathay Pacific, CI is China Airlines, and CA is Air China.

In terms of service, I've heard that both are pretty good, although I've only tried China Airlines and not Asiana. If it were my decision, and fares are comparable, I would go with Asiana for the miles, for sure!
