My question is about how long TP take to credit typically, and whether Gold status is conferred at the same time.

I took advantage of the current Avios offer to book a CPH->LHR/LCY->JFK route for next March.

Looking at my other booked flights, I'll in theory have >1500TP when the LCY->JFK leg posts on my account. It would be great to be able to use the First lounge at JFK for the return leg, and my wife would really like to pre-book an Elemis treatment.

If I fly BA3 on 24th March, what are my odds of having my Gold status by 28th March when we get our BA112 overnight flight home?

If it's unlikely, is there a way to convince the lounge agents to let me in by showing the flights in MMB etc?
