blairvanhorn: I hope you get to see Matthew Broderick too but I actually think it'd be interesting to see Martin Short play the Leo Bloom role. I think the reason Nathan Lane got the Tony over Broderick is that (at least when I saw the show) Broderick tried a little too hard to be just like Gene Wilder. Now, Martin Short would probably have a brilliant scene with the blue blanket.
(I figure it's not obvious to anyone what a huge fan I am of the movie, is it?
