Just getting Air NZ to credit what you are entitled to is becoming a problem with me. I have three outstanding claims where I have proved the fare class is eligible. Half the time they aren't even looking at the right airline's fare classes.
I am sick of begging for the privileges they advertise. The default seems to be 'wrong fare class, now go away'.
My son had premium economy points to Europe denied because the fare class on LH (who sold the ticket) used to belong to a deep discounted Y-class (G fare) but NZ said the LH fare update came after my son travelled (and paid $'000s to travel on NZ and LH Y+). So no points!
