A friend of mine flew earlier this year LHR-FRA-PVG-MEL (LH/LH/CA) and check-in was perfectly smooth as was the subsequent document check prior to boarding in FRA.
Hi,

just stumbled upon this thread and post. I'll fly MUC-PVG via FRA tomorrow and will make use of the 72h visa exemption. Also, I just checked in online at lufthansa.com saying my visa number is "72HVISAEXEMPTION" as the system wouldn't let me choose "I don't have a visa". Might there be any problems at the airport's check-in tomorrow?
