Whats delaying the QX flights on a daily basis is 2 words or well 2 airport codes PDX and SEA. Its a lack of gates and gate personnel at both locations that is causing the problems down the line. The A gates at PDX and the C1-C5 gates at SEA are a freaking nightmare. 8 to 12 planes lined up but only 4 or 5 actual dedicated "gates"/"kiosks" to use to board all the flights. One flight gets delayed 2 minutes and the whole system backs up to where by the end of the day you have hour or 2 delays. Just like it only takes 1 driver going 45 in a 65 zone to cause a stand still traffic jam 3 miles back. Last flights of the day on QX are a real crap shoot, just like they are on American Eagvoy. Granted QX isnt near the gamble that AE is. QX worst day is better than AE's best day when it comes to on time performance
You're probably right....the outstations seem to be pretty quick with turns, especially since they're focus is usually on a single flight at a time.
