With flying comes allowances (hourly pay at lgw). We have no idea whether ground duty days will get any allowances at all or just basic pay. To be honest, nobody seems to have any idea as to what's going on at all. Current seniors (CMs and Pursers) who are going for CSM will not even get a training course. It's a "here's a booklet - now get on with it" type scenario.

Honestly, there are so many questions hanging in the air that no management seem to know the answer to. Considering they've had a year to figure this out, they should've made a plan of some sort.

Rosters will most likely be worse. We've been promised one long haul flight per month, on average. Bearing in mind that we only have 3 night stop destinations on short haul, allowances will reduce as of 1st November. This reduction is not taken into account when it comes to the "advertised" up to £9K reduction in pay for some.

I'm probably saying too much but I can't help it. I think you deserve to know what's going on.

Finally, I don't agree with lgw crew being paid less because we're supposedly less profitable than lhr. Short haul at lgw have been making more money than short haul at lhr a lot of the time in the last few years, so the point is moot as far as I'm concerned.
