That all depends. No one knows the formula WN uses, but I doubt length of time someone has been A-List probably factors in much. It's probably a combination of how many flights flown in the last year, last three months, how much money you've spent in the last year and three months, and the fare you're flying on for that particular flight. If a newbie beats you using that formula, oh well.
