@QRC3288: thanks, I see what you mean. It seems that this is an AF thing, but what worried me was that I was weighed at 9 kg with just my laptop bag and very small case, so I guess that my usual full size carry on may take me over the 12 kg limit. Still, it seems that this is not a problem for my CX flight back to HKG.
