CX frequently weigh hand luggage at LHR if you aren't in a premium cabin.
This was at Terminal 2E for an AF flight, it was CDG staff, weighing just before passport control. But it made me wonder if anything similar was being done at other terminals. I actually asked the question in the AF forum, it seems that weighing hand carry is pretty regular in the key AF terminals, 2E and 2F
