Hoping somebody can help clarify something for me.
Got approved for the 50k plus last night (Oct 16th), credit limit of $2k. Minimum spend needs to happen prior to 90 days after approval (Jan 14th-ish)
On my chase account it's showing that the next due date is December 4th. Based on this info, when should I start using the credit card to fulfill minimum spend?
From my understanding, the statement closes a few days after due date. But I'm somewhat confused on when the points are posted. Is it after payment is received on or prior to due date? Or when the next statement posts?
Trying to time this perfectly.. have my honeymoon coming up Dec 1-16 and I just realized that the Plus charges a foreign transaction fee! So I think I have a good enough excuse to apply for the premier next month..just can't figure out the best way to time it so that all my spend on the honeymoon would post in January.
