Surely I can't be the only person who'd rather have more time on the ground in Vancouver and Portland as opposed to dealing with two separate flights, even with more RDM/EQM. I know this is FT but I'm sure there are non-frequent fliers who'd rather stay in Vancouver until, say, the early evening.
I've thought for a long time that any PDX-er who complains about not having enough PDX nonstops, and then willingly connects in SEA to get the miles, has no room to complain about PDX not having as many nonstops.
