They're all K class. K class on UA transfers 100% to KF but ANA doesn't transfer at all.
Here's the itenerary:
IAH-NRT on United 7937 operated by ANA
NRT-CGK on United 7915 operated by ANA
Return:
CGK-NRT on ANA 836
NRT-IAH on United 6
On this flight, would I only get KF miles for the NRT-IAH leg (because it's the only one on UA metal) or would I get it on IAH-NRT-CGK, too, because those have UA flight numbers?
As this is under the Star Alliance program, crediting of mileage is based on the operating carrier. So in this case of K farecode, only your UA operated flight is eligible to earn mileage on SQ KF.
