You will not get a visa on arrival. There is no visa involved. There is a Transit Without Visa (English) which in the original Chinese is a 过境免签政策. The distinction is important in both a legal sense and also in what the reaction of your originating airline airline at check-in might be.

(my bolds) Not really conversant in German, but aren't you contradicting yourself here? Visa waiver is correct, what you get in your passport is a special stamp which is not a visa.
