Heading to San Antonio in a couple of weeks and wanted to stay at the Homewood Suites on the Riverwalk. Website says they will be undergoing renovations (the whole thing - rooms, public areas, etc.) yet the prices are still sky high (higher than any other area Hilton property for my dates). I called and asked about the renovations (thinking maybe they were not that extensive) and was told it was going to be VERY noisy.

But the prices are still so high.

I'm currently booked at the DT Emily Morgan at a good price so I'm ok but wondering why there are no deals at the HWS during a bad time for guests.
