Dear Flyer Talk,

My Girlfriend and I are finally going on a 'points' vacation to Kauai. We used American Airlines points for the flight and want to use marriott points for the hotel. She is Silver Elite and I am Silver status. We have booked 5 nights in a Garden View 1 King room for about 160,000. We need about 60,000 more points and I am not sure what to do.

I have 96,000 America Airlines points.

I have 154,000 Chase Rewards points.

I belive I can transfer my chase points but they are valued at a lot more than the marriott points.

Any thoughts? We are booked Oct 31st
