Lol totally misleading, I literally had to read it 3 times to figure out that she wasn't IN Vegas going to Kelowna, or in Edmonton connecting in Kelowna (WS makes some ridiculous connections) or something else.

Now admittedly I'm a bit of a WS hater, I worked under their thumb too long, there's just lots of things I don't like. People might also call me an AC apologist, which I'm not...HOWEVER, I am a ground handler apologist/explainer, since I worked in that business both on the ground and in the office for 6 years.

My BEST guess here is that those items fell out of a bag while someone wasn't looking. FWIW stuff like this happens all the time, a zipper breaks on the belt, a pocket flap is open etc. So let's say a bag comes down the belt, these items fall out...now the handlers have to play a guessing game as to which bag they came from. There's other options, leave the stuff behind all together, find a big plastic bag, tag that as rush and send it with permission of WS, as the captain maybe to relay the message once boarding is done...

Odds are though the stuff was on the belt and the bag it came out of was already loaded into a cart, not realizing it was partially open. Then the handlers see another bag on the belt that's partially open, 1+1=2 and they think that's the right bag, stuff the items in there, zip it up and send it on it's way.
