Never flown to North America. On MU daytime (and daytime departing) flights, lunch/dinner is usually served quickly after take-off. They start preparing it 30-45 mins into the flight. Pre-arrival food is served 2 to 2.5 hours before landing. However, this can be on-demand if you miss it because you're asleep and you can request it until about 45 mins before landing. There are snacks available, noodles, soup, sandwiches etc. Just like pretty much every other airline.
Speaking of business class, of course.
