Good morning,
I have done a search with no find.
A new "enhancement" was announced to myself by snailmail letter:
Per 15DEC2015 the cooperation between BA EC and Barclaycard Germany will be history.
From 16DEC2015 BA Barclaycard Premium customers will not earn any Avios for their purchases and no more obtain a free Companion Voucher (two award flights in the same itinerary, paying only the Avios amount for one person but full taxes and charges for the cardholder and the companion) after having reached the threshold of 20,000 euros charged to ner/his Barclaycard Premium in a year.
All other Barclaycard conditions (whopping annual fee of 85 euros IIRC, positive balance on card account will NOT generate any interest) will remain unchanged.
This comes almost simultanously with the (still unpublished, but read the card conditions smallprint) announcement of Lufthansacard Germany that from 1JAN2016 all purchases will earn ONE mile per TWO euros spent (except for online shopping and Woldshop purchases wich earn 3 miles per 1 euro).
I know there is another thread in the M&M forum (and in this thread one poster planestupid has mentioned the Barclaycard enhancement - without pointing out the withdrawal of the Companion Voucher):

Is this general strategy of all these card issuers or have they all gone crazy ?
For me I am going to cancel asap at least my Barclaycard and give the business to (still ?) more welcoming competitors like the Air Berlin Topbonus Visa card - which still awards one mile (which also counts as a tier mile to confirm Topbonus status !) per EVERY euro spent.
Not good at all - awaiting your comments for my rant,
