I am a star gold departing cpt in y on et in a few weeks and I will try the advice previously given and I'll report back!

but I'm also used to being told no in this country. a lot.
That would be contrary to Star Alliance rules if they denied you lounge passes. The Star Alliance Lounge finder isn't perfect by any means, especially when it comes to contract lounges. In airports without a *G lounge then the airline must give *G members (+1 guest) in Y the same lounge that they give to business class passengers.

I know ET is known to be inconsistent at best and I'm sure this location is handled by contractors rather than ET employees, however this is one area I have found them to be very consistent, if you use the Clound 9 counter to check in, then if they forget your lounge passes just ask and there hasn't been any issue getting them.

- Customer must also present a boarding pass for a Star Alliance flight departing from the local airport having a contract with the third party lounge
- Customer is entitled to one guest. Guest must be departing on the same carrier as the eligible Star Alliance Gold customer
- Paid Lounge Membership Customers are not entitled to use any contract lounges
