rcs85551 ... a buck is bad enough, I agree with you! The Waldorf phone charges were undoubtably buried in the huge book of services - I guess I just ASSUMED it was only a dollar or so.

Be nice for FF'ers and road warriors to dig their heels in over mad phone costs, but it will never happen I suppose. I ordered literally the equal lowest priced bottle of local produced white wine on room service, and with the mandatory "$US3.50 per person" room delivery charge, mandatory "15% service/gratuity" and then the tax, it ran about $US50, and the room service guy of course wanted a cash tip as well!
