They highest I ran into was $1 + tax for local and 800 calls at the H.I. Broadwalk Casino in LAS...

Concerning Hilton: At the Hilton Boston Back Bay, they had a sign in the room that they would charge for 800 / local call over an hour. Seems like the policy depends on the hotel, and that they're trying to charge more where they can.

Too bad that you did not notice beforehand - that's a lot of money for basically nothing!
