This October is not proving so good - perhaps due to ENSO / El Niņo, storms with high winds and rain have caused recent flooding and to date 19 deaths.

Normally October isn't a bad month weather wise.

I'm not familiar with the resort in question, as most of my Fiji travel is for diving.
