GO Transit has a nonstop express to Yorkdale every hour. That would be a good place to buy the phone - there's an Apple store as you note and everything else. And the fare is about $5.
That is a faster and better idea if the bus schedule fits. You also would not need to walk as far to the Apple Store from Yorkdale GO terminus.
