Check your app often!
So I just hit gold for the first time last month and haven't had the need to SDC yet, but I thought I would check it out just for the heck of it the other day, and I couldn't quite figure it out. I read through the Wiki and I still have some questions.
So I tried to do a SDC before checking in on the website with the "change flight" option, but it just brought up a database error page. I'm guessing this was just the UA website being the UA website?
Next, I tried using the app after checking in. It gave me the "change flight" option when I clicked on the reservation, but when I would actually choose change flight it would just take me to my reservation overview. Does this just mean that there were no alternate flights to change to, or some sort of app problem?
Last, it seems like when I was a silver, whenever I was checking in or looking at my reservation on the app, there would always be the $75 option to change. Was it just a coincidence that they did not offer me any way to change flight or something else?
Thanks for your help!
