"The Lincoln Cornhusker Marriott Hotel, majority owned and operated by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, has begun the search for its first Artist in Residence. The Artist-in-Residence program is a new venture from the hotel which will enable interaction between guests and local artists. One artist is chosen from a pool of applicants and given a working art studio on the Lobby level of the hotel for a full year, beginning April 1, 2016. During this year of residency, the selected Artist in Residence will spend time in an on-site studio and create gallery pieces, host gallery nights and network with guests to create a truly enriching experience for travelers."
